"How the Values of an Organization Impact Nurse Engagement and Patient Outcomes" is a good example of a paper on care.
Work engagement is truly crucial to organizational efforts in retaining nurses as well as mitigating future nursing scarcity. The structure and management of an institution have a substantial impact on the value of service delivered by a nurse. In their twin role as caretakers and organization custodians, nurses have the input to create a culture of engagement. The two values, which are; the values of an organization and the values of the nurse can dictate the quality of services a nurse can offer. Alignment of these values have made nurses recognize the responsibility to equally care for as well as advance the interests of the career, it is impractical to claim any ability in advancing the wellbeing of the patient. In nursing, caring for the patient is a straight result to care for the career (Watson, 2008).

The alignment has aided in the development of a sense of professionalism and an understandable relationship to the profession as a primary action of all affiliates of the profession. Affiliation with membership in the career does not mean that every individual who is working under the auspices of the career meets the prerequisites of being described as a professional. These values have enabled professionals to demonstrate that they ascertain the requisites, therefore; they are able to give quality services to patients. Consequently, the alignment between the organization values and values in all nursing education as well as service settings, the base in the curriculum plan, practice as well as performance expectations have been breached in an evidentiary regulation that suggests the firmness, which validates the efficiency and efficacy of medical practice (Carpernito-moyet, 2008).

How an individual can use effective communication techniques to influence the values of other nurses and be effective in problem-solving processes in the organization and the profession

Communication is the act of transferring information between or among individuals or a group of people. The profession of nursing makes use of regular communication between the nurse as well as the patient, the patient’s relatives, the nurse’s co-workers, administrators, among other people in the society. Communication in the nursing profession is an issue, which should be handled with a lot of accuracies, poor communication can lead to a dangerous situation, while on the other hand, it can result in efficiency and dependability. Before sending information, the sender must first of all check for the setting where communication is going to take place, the past understanding and personal insights of both the sender and recipient, the timing of the message while holding other factors constant (White, 2005).

Breakdown in communication may lead to a negative unexpected outcome, it is known to all the importance of giving thorough a thorough patient account to the incoming nurse during shift change. Giving proper patient reports to the incoming nurse eases his or her work because it gives the direction of where to start from. Therefore effective communication can boost the working morale of co-nurses, on the other hand, it eases the traceability of information should there be a problem.

Based on personal experience, nurses have to demonstrate a willingness and capability to develop the technical skills necessary to manning communication and information systems through the high intensity of access and convenience skills, incorporating them into the normal and usual practice actions of nursing (Funnell, et. al., 2008). Since digital and effective technology will simply keep on expanding, the expectation of every committed nurse is full commitment and participation in the use of this technology to the shifting fundamentals of nursing performance and patient care.

Alignment and business governance; the notion of value creation via technology is heavily reliant upon the placement of technology along with business plans. While the value design for an institute is a network of liaisons between interior and exterior environments, technology takes part in an important role in picking up the overall value chain of an institute, (Haes & Van Grembergen, 2008).
