we will find that how he showed some of the managerial capabilities and performed his roles very clearly in the management of his restaurant. Now looking at his interpersonal role he is the figure head of his organization as he has to perform all the routine duties of legal and social nature. As a leader, he is responsible for all managerial activities and motivates & involves subordinates in all managerial activities like staffing, training. The next job in the list is liaison. As seen in the case study Jamie has liaison with UK government under the new deal initiative.

He is involve in recruitment, selection of trainees and involved in designing the training program as well as monitoring the trainees' development and performance. He performed the liaison activities with suppliers and growers and build long-term relationship with them. He always liaises with unemployed and unskilled people and motivates them to adopt the career as a chef. He has always contacted with the outsiders and maintained the professional relationship. As in the informational role of manager, Jamie has always been monitoring periodical news, observational tours and act as the nerve centre of organizational internal and external information.

He has taken out the trainees on field visit to suppliers, farms and markets in order to communicate and other educational and training trips. As a disseminator, Jamie communicates with subordinates and trainees and maintains information flow and interpretation of information. As spokes person for his enterprise, he plans policies and serve as an expert in the food industry of which his organization belongs. Finally, as in decisional role, Jamie as an entrepreneur, evaluate its business and its general environment for opportunities and initiates, improve, changes and supervise different designs of the jobs and take decisions involving improvement in organizational effectiveness.

As a manager, Jamie has a very clear vision and has the expertise and technical skills about his job. His technical knowledge and ability is very important to the whole enterprise, as it provides him with part of his credibility among the young trainees as well as forming the basis for much of their training .the series shows him demonstrating basic techniques such as cutting and food preparation, as well as devising menus and improvising his way around the occasional disaster experienced by the trainees.

He has always been in search of right people in his organization and takes decisions on several aspects like recruiting selection and training of the trainees. He always has been taking the responsible of disturbance handler. His approach to discipline is quick and consistent; when someone makes a mistake, he points out what they have done, explains why it cause problem, and tells them what to do to remedy this situation; after which it is over and forgotten -at least as far as he is concerned.

When the trainee realized that the labor involved in the job is too much, Jamie always motivated them and also been supportive to trainees, talked to them individually and often supported them financially. As an efficient and effective manager, Jamie always put emphasis on resource management which involves proper allocation of organizational resources. We see the building project going over budget and it experiences technical delays and setbacks; at times it looks as if it will fail to hit schedule or even open at all. Oliver's
