Beyond this, the article expends a great deal of discussion on the accepted side effect profile of thiazide drugs and the means by which existing and current research is shedding more light on the renal impacts that these drugs invariably have on the patient that utilizes them for chronic treatment of hypertension (Ernst et al., 2009). Likewise, the low occurrence of pancreatic issues, specifically cancer, is related.

The research that is performed with respect to thiazide and its treatment of hypertension within this article goes far above what is replicated in most journal entries; at least in part to the fact that the authors are focused on describing a much broader picture and not necessarily focusing in on one single determinant of hypertension treatment via thiazide synthesized drugs. For such reasons, this student has deemed it to be a valuable contribution to the study that will be conducted.
